My Creative Work- VA Body Of Work: "Anatomy of Potential"
This is my Visual Arts HSC Body of Work, taking an interest in Athleticism and the beauty of Biomechanics.
"The Anatomy of Potential“ seeks to explore the sublimity of my own personal experiences of Athletic pursuit. It is a demonstration of my growing awareness of the human body’s precision as a biomechanical instrument. The subject is based upon a female colleague- a long jumper, whose diligence and progress, acknowledges the incredible potential of human Athleticism. Thus, the works are snapshots, impresions, captured moments in heat of training. The multiple frames of the work and its subject matter, seeks to contain the singular, sublime moment of action- the leap: as a result of untold hours of practice."
